How to promote your Event

To help you play better jazz
See the links page for free downloads of jazz theory and jazz tutorials. Buy Real Books and other tutors. Jamey Abersold is the world’s leading remote jazz trainer.  Big, big list of products for beginners to advanced – music, playalong tapes, tutorials, videos, books and arrangements. On his site is some free and very useful help for jazz players.

Navigate to his Free Jazz section, then go to scale syllabus.  This is a complete guide to all the scales, all of them, with notes, intervals – it is the basic reference guide.  The slight problem is that all the chord symbols are from the USA and our symbols are often a bit different but they are not difficult to work out. Anyway the Abersold site will help. Just go to nomenclatures on the free page and download it. Go to our jazz links page for his site.
You should also get the Jazzwise free catalogue – they sell Abersold products in the UK plus many more arrangements and tutorials.  It is Europe’s biggest jazz music site.  They bring Abersold to the UK for a weekend training workshop every summer.  See the jazz links page.
