Listen to your favourite jazz radio then download your jazz for free
Here is a surprise for you. Your favourite jazz can be recorded free from the Web- in 2 different ways one of which you may not have thought of.
One. Get the latest Media Player download free from the Microsoft site. Search in the radio stations for jazz and you’ll find jazz stations a-plenty from Melbourne to Miami. Choose the station which plays the music you want, record it to your hard drive. Use Roxio or Nero or something similar by switching on the Sound Mixer as your recording input device, not the microphone. The recording process is easy, edit out the tracks you don’t want. Roxio is better because you also can rip cd tracks in it. (You “Rip” a track from a cd but you “Burn” a copy on to another cd - why are the anoraks who invent this language such twats?) There you are, no cost jazz downloads.
Media Player is one very big reason why Microsoft is having to defend itself against unfair business practices charges all around the world – well in Europe and the USA anyway. It has relegated the other Players to a minor role.
Two. We don’t like the ever popular Kazaa so much for free downloads – we get a mass of pop up ads and we need a spyware detector to free up the computer after using Kazaa. Search for Limewire software. Its free. It may automatically download a bit of Java software as well. The site is very clean, easy to use. It has a massive reach because it gets to all the Apple computers as well, and they started all this download nonsense. It is illegal to download any music without paying for it.
